Hannover vs Dusseldorf

How can we live in Europe without going to a football (soccer) game? Nathan and I got an amazingly brave babysitter and went to the last Hannover 96 game of the season. They played Fortuna Dusserdorf. Nathan and I actually met up with some of his coworkers and headed to the game as a group. It was so much fun and I am glad that I got to experience a true European Soccer Game. Hannover won 3 Dusseldorf 0.

Here are some pictures and highlights from our experience.

In the video you can hear the crowd cheering for DUSSELDORF. Although we were rooting for Hannover it was cool to hear the chanting.
The Dusseldorf fans got a little excited and lit a couple flares! Crazy stuff.
 Lots of fun!
Here is a view of the Hannover fan section. See the banners and flags!
I guess they were a little worried about bad sports because they had a huge row of policemen come in to contain the Dusseldorf fans.

I was loads of fun. Cosette has also been watching Soccer with us on the TV when there is a game. She now practices her falls (fake) to get a time out in the game. She needs more practice...they don't look natural at all.
