She loves to watch the ducks at the pond and around the Palace. She has been waiting patiently for the baby ducks to make their appearance.
I cannot believe that she will be 3 in only a couple of weeks. Time sure does fly by.
Another shot of Celle Palace.
Nathan got new running shoes! Looking Good. Time to get fit!! (Not just him...I need to get fit too)
We went to a Knight Tournament in a village close to Celle. It was a rainy day and we only stayed for a few hours. It was fun to see the people all dressed up and the knights on their horses.
There was even an old school swing for the kinder!
The Tents of the Knights!
Cosette loves to mix the pond water with sticks and make soup! She has a great imagination.
Coco mixing the "soup" and Tyrus exploring the grass.
Ty in his little hat!
Walking to the grass to play.....SOCCER!
We had fun practicing Cosette's soccer skills.
We went to the Frankfurt Temple and stayed in the Temple hostel (it's like a hotel for those that visit the Temple). It was great to see the Temple and do some service there. Cosette wanted a picture in front of the red tree. When she first saw it she said "oh wait minute, that tree red! I not color trees red, they green Mommy!" She thought that it was pretty funny.
Tyrus and Cosette.
It was a beautiful day to go to the Temple.
After the Temple we went to the Saalburg Roman Fort. It is a reconstruction of a Roman fort that was found in that exact area. It was lots of fun to explore and see the different ruins and see how the Romans lived life on a fort in Germany.
The buildings within the fort had some artifacts and replicas of different items that were used there during the time of the Romans.
Tyrus LOVES this backpack!
A bust of a Roman boy.
The children area was fun! Complete with Roman Lego Army.
A wishing well! Cosette said that it was like Snow White's well. Always a princess theme with her.
Check out those Romans.
This is where they baked their bread.
Having fun and being crazy! We can't speak German so we'll never know if they make fun and talk about us anyway.
On this picture you can see the way that the original wall was painted.
This is a part of the fort called the Limes. It's about 200 Meters from the walls of the inner fort (where the people stayed). It acted as a first line of defense and as an entry way for those visiting the fort. There was a wooden fence and then a big pit and a mound of dirt.
KING OF THE MOUNTAIN!
Oh and we have baby birds living outside our garden house. Cosette is excited to watch them grow. Life as a Peruch is great. Everyday is an adventure.
