A Weekend In Celle

Last weekend we stayed in Celle. We needed to find a bike shop to buy a pump for our stroller tires. We love our BOB stroller! I use it almost everyday of the week walking around town with the children and on Saturdays we use it for our long trips so it is well loved. We found a shop here in Celle and pumped it up! Then we went to the Market in town and enjoyed the beautiful day as a family. I have to admit that I liked having a low-key weekend where we could relax and not have to worry about traveling anywhere new.

 This is how we roll in Celle. Actually we don't but someone does.

 Celle was having like a mini car show or something. There were people test driving these babies down the cobble stone streets. Nate said that it would be great for driving to work.

 Cosette loves passing by this friendly little bird when we take our walks through Celle.

 Now that it's getting warmer we decided to buy our first gelato in Germany. It was very yummy. Cosette had Erdbeere (Strawberry).

 Cosette loves to play in the French Gardens. They are close to our apartment so it's fun to take the kids there to play during the week.

 Tyrus loves to watch Cosette play and has a fun time cruzin in the BOB stroller.

 Cosette has a great motherly instinct. She is always trying to help with Tyrus. She even pushes the stroller now. Too bad she cannot see where she is going!

 This statue is in the French Gardens. It will be neat to see what it looks like at the fountain when the flowers bloom!

 As you can see there are lots of rocks like this all around the path in the park. Cosette tries to stand on top of as many of them as she can each time we pass by.

 Last week we posted some of the pictures of our Garden House. Well this is where we enter from the street. We walk through the Main House shown here and then go out to the garden where our little apartment is. It is so nice to be so close to town and we are trying to find out more information on what year the building was built and a little history on it as well.

 Tyrus is just like Mommy. He loves to drink banana smoothies! We love our Vita-Mix! In fact we love it so much we brought it all the way to Germany with us. Oh the comforts of home.
