Oh How Time Has Passed

It's been a long time since I last posted to the blog. Sorry! We have a lot of pictures to share from our adventures. We have some from Houston and also from our current state. We went to PA to visit the O'Connor side of the family for the Christmas holidays. Then we went to Visit some friends near Allentown PA. After that we took a stop in VA to visit the Pillings and now are currently in Richmond area visiting Nathan's sister Katelyn and her husband Nick.

Why the delay to get to Germany? Well we are waiting for HR to finally get the approval for Nate's work permit. The holidays delayed it longer than expected. Hopefully it gets done soon and we can be on our way. We are getting restless. I guess you could say we are homeless roamers. Nathan has been working from his work computer as we move from family member to family member. He is doing great considering the crazy schedule. Rest assured we are doing well and are excited to share some pictures with you about what we have been up to. We will let you all know when we are finally in Germany!

This is the first picture I took on our new camera (NIKON D5100). I have lots to learn but I am excited to try to gain more skills in photography. And isn't Nathan cute!

Uncle Levi and Aunt Phoebe with Tyrus and Peter. It was so fun to see the O'Connor side of the family and meet Baby Peter Knight. We love all of you lots and miss you like crazy!
Here is a picture of the boys with Aunt Emma in their matching suits. We missed Bence though. It would have been so neat to see all three boys together.
Emma and Peter with Mimi O'Connor and Tyrus and I. We had such a good time visiting her and talking with her.
I think I look a little crazy in this picture but you get the idea. We wanted a shot of the grandkids with Pop and Grandma and Mimi O'Connor.
Lets just say that Cosette wanted to do other things...taking a picture was not on her agenda. So this is what we get.
 Coco trying on Pop's boots.
Tyrus and Peter. Ty was heavier than Peter but Peter was quite a bit taller than Tyrus. It will be fun to see how they grow and change through the years.
We had a baby shower for Emma and Peter. It was so nice to visit with everyone and celebrate Baby Peter Knight.
Emma is such a good mommy. I loved talking about mommy and baby things with her. I sure wish we lived closer so we could visit more.
Sorry this picture is sideways. But Tyrus loved all the attention at the shower too.
Baby Peter with his new winter hat he got from Aunt Jen at his shower. What a cutie!!
Peter with his Grandma Knight and Aunt Sarah.
Baby Peter with GG Campbell and Mimi O'Connor.
Aunt Emma and her little man.
Tyrus and his new vest and hat from Aunt Jen.
 I love this little man.
Phoebe, Hiram and Cosette riding the ranger at the O'Connor's house.
Coco riding the ranger.
We took a stop at the Washington D.C. Temple.

Cosette was so proud of her first picture of people. If you look closely you can see the heads and the bodies of the people. I have to admit I was and still am so proud of her and how much she is growing in her learning. Her picture includes, Mommy, Daddy, Cosette and Baby Tyrus.
While we continue to wait for Nathan's work permit before we can move to Germany we went down to Historic Williamsburg in VA. We learned so much and had a great day!

I spent most of my time snapping pictures and chasing Cosette around. So forgive me for taking pictures mostly of her.
Such a bright future ahead of this little one. Aunt Katelyn braided her hair for her and she looked adorable.

This is the Capitol Building in Colonial Williamsburg. I like the shadows against the light brick building.
We also went to jail in Williamsburg. It was actually one of our favorite places. We are just glad that we did not have to be in jail back in the day.
AW! He looks so cute in jail. HA HA HA Just Kidding.
Katelyn went with us because well...we are staying at her house. So here is a picture of her and baby Cora, Nate, Coco and Ty.
Since Cosette is potty trained we wanted to see if she would be able to stay potty trained in Colonial Williamsburg too. She passed the test. She could reach.

We got to practice the pump. Man would I have amazing guns if I lived in that time period. It gets tiring after a while.

The Blacksmith shop was interesting! We learned so much.

AH! I forgot to mention that we got a BOB stroller. It's amazing and I am so glad we had it for our trip to Historic Williamsburg. It was a dream to push on all surfaces. It should be a great for Germany...if only we could just get there already!!
I am kicking myself for not getting a video of these sheep. They sounded like a bunch of old men belching at one another. It was a great laugh.

My boys!

Cosette loved the chickens!
The shoe maker was also a wonderful learning experience.

Above is the Gunsmith sign. One of Nathan's favorite places in Williamsburg.
This picture is of Cosette before we left Houston. She misses her pink kitchen like crazy! She started to use it as a jungle gym too! I prefer the regular kitchen best.

Take that Cosette! Baby Tyrus has Chuck Norris hair and he's not afraid to fight!
Now stop picking on me Big Sis!
These pictures are from Halloween. Cosette loved the train ride at the park. Once again she was a pumpkin.
Nathan with Ty and Coco.
Mommy with the kiddies.
Cosette loves to stay active and Mommy let her ride the horse at the mall before we left Houston.
Cosette was supposed to be taking a nap but she decided to fill the bathroom sink and flood the bathroom instead.
She got stuck between the couch and the wall! This girl loves to climb.
My little Penn Staters!
Cosette and her little friend Scarlett before we left Houston. She sure misses all her nursery friends from church.
We got to ride horses when visiting my family in PA. Cosette LOVED it. She got right on and would not stop thinking about it afterward. She told us that she wanted a horse not a dog!

This is Tyrus and his cousin Cora! Lets just say he has a few pounds on her. She is such a sweet baby.
Wow these pictures are scattered. These last two are from our trip to Williamsburg.

I can't believe how big Tyrus is getting! What a cute little chunk! Looks like you guys have been having lots of fun visiting family. It is nice that you have the chance to do that before you move so far away. IT sounds like you are anxious to get to Germany! Can't wait to hear how you like living there. Good luck with getting there and your transition. If it takes too long you are always welcome to come to the West coast and visit us before you leave. ;)
