Our Last Week In The USA ... Until We Get Back Of Course

We spent our last week in the US with the Young family. It was loads of fun to see Aunt Jen, Cameron and Tallie. While visiting them we went to Montpelier and Monticello. It was fun learning about James Madison and Thomas Jefferson. They sure did lead interesting lives. I think our favorite of the two would be Monticello, there was more to do and Tallie said it was also more kid friendly. She is helping me write this post. We will have some fun picture captions so here we go. Enjoy the pictures. The next time we post it will be from Europe!

Tyrus and Tallie: Look into my eyes little baby.
 In Montpelier: Our Family
Montpelier: I would love to see this place in the Spring and Summer. The lawns must be even more beautiful.
 Montpelier: The Youngs
Montpelier: Cameron and Tallie bonding with the Madisons.
Montpelier: Tallie on James Madison's shoulders. She said he was quite cold!
 Montpelier: Entry to the gardens.
Montpelier: The gate to the gardens.
Montpelier: In the gardens, the silent gardens, the lion sleeps tonight.
Montpelier: Taking a rest from the kiddies on a bench.
Montpelier: Exit gate from the garden.
Montpelier: Finally out in the lawn. Tallie and Coco took a break.
Montpelier: Cosette refused to look at the camera for a picture.
 Montpelier: Our family.
Montpelier: Don't jump Tallie, it's a long way down! It's about four feet down to be exact. That would hurt.
Montpelier: She decided not to jump!
Monticello: A view of the house.
 Monticello: Tallie and Coco.
 Monticello: My boys!
Monticello: Tyrus hanging out in the backpack.
Monticello: A view from the basement corridor window.
 Monticello: The sky view.
Monticello: The back view of the house. Tallie was very curious how people in that day mowed their lawns.
Monticello: The shadows of Tallie and Cameron. Tallie thinks it looks like she is punching Cameron. That NEVER happens in real life of course.
Monticello: The Youngs. We are so glad that we were able to visit with them and enjoy silly conversations and also get free baby sitting! We cannot wait to visit them in Hawaii!
Monticello: The gate to the Jefferson graveyard.
Monticello: Jefferson. Tallie calls this statue "Colonial Vogue".
