When Nate came back Melanie (Nate's sister) also came to visit us. She leaves on her mission in a few weeks so we wanted to see her before she left for 18 months to serve the Lord. She is still here in Texas with us and we are grateful to spend time with her. She even taught us how to make cannoli! YUMMY
On Sunday Nathan blessed Tyrus in church. It was a beautiful blessing and we are so grateful to our Father in Heaven for our little family.

Cosette wanted to play baseball with Daddy. They played catch for a while but she quickly moved onto soccer instead.
While Melanie was here we went to the Houston Aquarium. It was actually the lamest aquarium I have ever been to but Cosette likes the little pools that she could stick her hands in and touch the animal life.

Strangely enough they had a tiger at the aquarium. A real one and also this statue.
Outside the aquarium there was a train. Coestte loves trains and she was pretty upset that we did not pay the $3/ person to ride it. But it's ok it's been a few days and she forgot about it already.

The outfit that we got Tyrus was a little more "traditional" and it came with a bonnet. Nathan thought that it was ridiculous to wear a bonnet on a boy. So I took some pictures so that we could get the full effect. LOL I think he is cute but I agree that boys should not wear bonnets. What can I say he is my son and I think he is cute in whatever he wears.
Cosette really likes Aunt Melanie's cowgirl boots. We just love watching her do silly things. She really likes the attention she gets when she "dresses up".

I thought Tyrus totally pulled off the bonnet! He is just so darn cute. Love the new family picture. Oh and I can't believe Melanie is old enough to go on a mission. I told Nathan and he said, "I didn't even think she was old enough to date yet." Funny how people get stuck at a certain age when you don't get to see them. :)
