Tyrus Oscar Peruch

Name: Tyrus Oscar Peruch

We decided on the name Tyrus because we liked it. Oscar, his middle name, is after his great grandfather (Nathan's Grandpa Brosi). We like the name. 

Date of Birth: August 20, 2012 

We went in to be induced at 5AM that morning and he was finally born at 7:30PM. They started the pitocin around 6AM and it took forever for his head to get turned in the right position. After about 4 hours of being stuck at 5 1/2 cm the doctor checked me again and said "Still the same, see you in about 30 minutes and I will come check you again." No joke, only like 10 minutes after she left the room I started to feel the pain that means baby is almost here. The awesome nurse checked me and said I was ready to push and asked that the doctor get back in the room. Doctor came in and within like 20 minutes or less the little guy was out. I did not have to push long at all. I went natural again, no pain meds. I have to admit that his labor was more painful than Cosette's. Still I am glad that I did it without the epidural because I was able to move around more and that helped to move his head into the right position.  He is a happy and healthy little baby and I could not ask for anything more. 

Weight: 7 Pounds 4 Oz. 

Length: 19 1/2 Inches

Tyrus was one pound bigger than Cosette (remember Cosette was a month early...I don't even want to know how big she would have been if she was born on or near her due date). Anyway, he is gaining weight well and loves to nurse. We are so grateful that God has blessed us with this sweet little boy. He sleeps well and is so fun to cuddle and love.

 Cosette is an awesome big sister. She says that Tyrus is "My Baby!". And when he cries she makes sure that everyone knows it; she yells "Baby Crying!" Like we couldn't hear that already. 

 Our first family picture! My mom came to help with Cosette while Nathan and I were at the hospital. She was such a great help. Cosette loves her grandma and had a wonderful time with her. We sure wish she could have stayed longer but are grateful for the time that she did spend with us.

 This is what Tyrus came home from the hospital in. Our first son, Giuseppe was going to wear this home from the hospital but as you all know we did not get to take him home with us as we had planned. So three years later his little brother Tyrus got to wear this little baseball outfit home instead. We are so blessed to have all three of our children. We miss Giuseppe everyday but he is still a part of our family and we are glad that we are a family forever! Tryus now gets to use all of Giuseppe's clothes, toys and blankets. 

 My little Nathan. Tyrus has the same red hair as his Daddy. It may fall out or get lighter but I think that he looks like Nathan for sure. 

 I tried to get some pictures while he was awake. I'm not a photographer so I hope I captured his cuteness for you to see. 

Thank you all for your love and support through this pregnancy. We have been so blessed to have Tyrus come safely and healthy. We love being a family and are so glad to have such great family and friends to share in our journey through life. We love you all.
