Honoring the Veterans and Fun Coco Pictures

This past week there was a tribute to the troops, past and present, at the PA Military museum near our house. We couldn't help but stop by and check out the neat military trucks, tanks, helicopters and of course honor our troops by saying thank you to all the active and retired military personnel there. Enjoy our pictures.

There were lots of neat trucks and tanks that they were letting the public sit in and explore. The service men and women there were very helpful answering our questions.
At the end of the ceremony they had a march around part of the park. It was really neat to see!
This is Cosettte inside one of the medical helicopters. She tried to buckle up. I guess she wanted to go for a ride.
That morning we could hear the helicopters flying in. They were huge and so fun to see.
Cosette and Daddy in the personnel carrier. She loved it in there. She liked sitting in the seats and running up and down the ramps.
We have several veterans on both sides of our families. We are so grateful for their service to our country and couldn't help but have a new appreciation for the things that they endured to protect our freedoms. Thank you to all that have served our nation. We love you and appreciate your sacrifices.
Nathan and Cosette outside the Personnel carrier.
We had a great day walking around and getting up close to the equipment.
These are artillery guns that they shot off. Don't worry they were blanks but the sound was very loud.
The last few pictures are random ones of Cosette. I taught my last Sunbeam class on Sunday and the lesson was: I am Thankful for my Eyes. I always do some sort of craft with the kids and this time we made glasses. I practiced making them ahead of time with Cosette. She liked hers but it did not last long before she smashed them and went onto something more exciting.
This morning we made pancakes for breakfast. She insisted on wearing her apron and mixing the batter. We tried to stop her so that we could blend it better but she was not about to let someone take her job!
Now this is a better more calm Cosette. She really is an independent little girl. She wants to help and do things all by herself all the time. Hopefully she doesn't mind helping with the baby when he comes. That should be an interesting experience.

Looks like you've been up to some fun things! I bet you're excited to be moving past the school phase. Are you ready for the Texas heat? I think it's awesome that Cosette wants to potty train. It's less about the age and more about if the kid is really ready, and it sounds like she is! That will be so nice, especially once your little guy arrives. Good luck with the move and congrates to Nate!!
