Operation Cosette Sleep...@ NIGHT

Now that we have somewhat settled in, we now have undertaken the task of receiving a good night’s sleep. I know we are not alone in this venture. Those of you that have or had children all go through sleepless nights. Then it seems for spite your child will sleep all day! This leaves you even more tired because you think “She is finally asleep I can now get things done on my honey do list”. You do all these things at half speed due to lack of energy which is compounded with each passing day. After 6 weeks you realize nothing has gotten done even though you think you are accomplishing sooo much. With this we are trying to keep Cosette up during the day so she will sleep at night. Wish us luck! As my Grandma said “Babies are smart! People don’t give them enough credit” and yes babies are people too.

Above: This is Cosette at about 1 month. She is cute but at night the cranky Cosette comes out!!!

Above: I just took this picture today. Notice how pleasantly plump our Cosette is getting. This is naturally a great thing that she is growing but it's no wonder when all she does at night is nurse.
This one is from a couple of days ago. Love the baby capris and the pink shoes Cosette. Very stylish.

To calm Cosette down at night when she is crying we like to give her a bath. She loves it. She could spend all night in the tub but we have to get her out eventually so then she cries more. But I know the cure...NURSING more! lol she really is getting better. It's just funny how her little personality is.

Above is a picture of my little brother Sawyer. He came to visit us here in State College one night (it was actually my birthday surprise). Anyway he picked up my breast pump, turned it on and started shooting it at people. He then said that it was a laser shooter or something like that. Anyway it was really funny. Not quite a laser shooter but nice job using your imagination Sawyer.

oh my gosh, she is so cute! I just want to kiss those cheeks! I'm glad to hear the move went well and you're getting all settled in. Good luck getting Cosette to sleep at night, some kids just have their own schedules and ideas about what life should be like;) Miss you!

Love all the pictures! Cosette has gained a good amount of weight since we have seen her. It's a good thing though cause she was tiny. Glad you guys are all moved in and hopefully will get some more sleep. Maybe we need to come around again and she will :)

she is just so flipping cute. she makes me so excited to have a girl!!! good luck with the whole sleeping through the night thing. to be honest with you, it wasn't until i stopped breast feeding at 12 months that bro finally consistantly slept through the night! man oh man. that's hard to hear i know... but it's the truth in our case! you know what though, i stopped hoping and just realized that the times i had to get up with him were just one more special moment with my baby version of bro. that time flies so i'll take it!!!! even if i am a zombie for a year. lol. some babies are sooo good though, you just never know. good luck and let us know how it goes!!! ps- we'll miss you guys!
