Recently I went to my friend Kirsty's baby shower. She is also having a little girl. I am so excited for her. Anyway, I had no idea what to get her. Then one day I found some really simple tutorials online that showed how to make baby slippers and caps. I thought that I would give it a try and give Kirsty a custom baby gift. I picked out all the fabric and matched everything up. Then I got to sewing. This was lots of fun. I have missed my sewing machine. I'm glad I finally dusted it off and made something. After the booties were done I made the cap which took like 5 minutes. I thought that a bow or a flower to match the slippers would really tie it all in together so I added the flower with a button center to top it all off. Enjoy the pictures. I'm so excited how they turned out. I'm not the best at sewing but I'm excited to do more projects and get better at it. I know my little Cosette will be getting lots of slippers and caps to match her outfits.
Above: This is the final project. I used a pink bow to hold the card to the box.
