Going East

We recently took at trip back east. Nate had some interviews for graduate programs and I got to go along and visit with my family while we were in the area. First we stayed in Virginia for a couple of days with my cousin and her adorable family. Then we went to Pennsylvania and stayed with my parents for a while. It was lots of fun and I hope you all enjoy the pictures.

Above: Uncle Tony and Nathan. My little brother Hiram had his court of honor to become an Eagle Scout and Uncle Tony was so kind to come and support Hiram. Nathan is also an Eagle Scout so Uncle Tony and him get along well talking all about scouts.

Above: This is my beautiful cousin Stephanie and her adorable daughters Penny and Margot. I guess I forgot to take a picture before Bruce went to work. Sorry! That means we will have to come again. We had so much fun with them. The girls really liked Nate. I got really excited for Cosette to come just looking at how fun the Pilling girls are.

Above: This is the sad excuse for fried ice cream that we got. We were so excited for fried ice cream and then they just gave us vanilla ice cream covered in corn flakes. Once again...another reason to visit the Pillings again and get the real thing. The corn flakes just will not cut it.

Above: This is a picture from Hiram's court of honor. His Bishop, Hiram's friend Adam (who also became an Eagle Scout), Uncle Tony, Hiram, and his scout master. We are so proud of Hiram for this wonderful achievement.

Above: While we were in PA Nathan had his 27th birthday!! My parents got him an ice cream cake. We had lots of fun celebrating with my siblings and grandparents and a couple of my cousins. Nathan is looking forward to another great year and so am I.
