Christmas Holiday

This Christmas we went to California. We stayed with Nathan's parents. All of Nathan's siblings were there in Madera CA except for Kyle who is serving a mission in Chile. It was fun to see Pieter and Angela his wife and their adorable children Amira and Corban. Amira is full of energy and lots of love. Corban is such a sweet baby, he smiles a lot and is very interested in everything going on around him.
It was also really nice to see other family members this Christmas season. We got to visit with Grandma and Grandpa Brosi, Grandmama, Aunt Patricia and her daughter Kay. Uncle Gary and his son Evan, his daughter Maegan and her husband Sean also came to Madera to visit. It was so much fun. Gary took us to the I-Max theater to see Avatar in 3D. It was fun.
We are so grateful for all the many blessings we have. This was a wonderful Christmas. We are grateful for all that we have been given. One of the best gifts we got this year was from Mom and Dad Peruch. They have been working hard on it for some time now and it's now complete. Giuseppe's grave stone is in place and it's beautiful. Check out the pictures below.

Above: This is the front of the stone. Those beautiful flowers were placed there by Grandma Brosi.

Above: Back of the stone. There is a poem here, I don't know if you can read it this small.

Above: Nathan and I with our little Giuseppe's stone. We are so pleased with how it turned out. Thank you Mom and Dad Peruch for working so hard. In case anyone is wondering, we are most likely going to be laid to rest when we die in the plot next to Giuseppe. Then Mom and Dad Peruch will be at the other side. But we aren't worried about that for a long time.
Also some exciting news:
WE ARE HAVING ANOTHER BABY IN JULY!!!!!

Rachael, you don't really know me, I think I've commented a couple times on your blog but I'm a friend of your Aunt Joanne's. My name is Amy. When you lost your sweet boy she wrote me because she knew I'd know how you felt and would have some advice about pictures, etc. We lost our baby last January the same way. Giuseppe's marker is beautiful! I love how it has a bench area to sit on. I would love a bench by our angel's grave. Its so nice to have the marker done with their name, etc. Congratulations on the new baby!!! We are also expecting again, its so exciting and nerve wracking at the same time! I hope all goes well and that you are feeling okay. I don't know if I've given you our blog address before or not but you are welcome to see more about our angel here, www.zacharyandamy.blogspot.com Here's to a New Year! :)

Oh, and its such a small world! Your husband is from Madera, CA?! I grew up in Merced. Its not very far from there. I'll have to ask my parents in they know his family, they may have met them through Church functions, etc.

Rachel and Nathan - such a beautiful entry. Rachel, you have always been one of my favorites!! I pray things will go well for you. Giuseppe is often in my thoughts - I am sure he will usher his baby sister or brother to you. I love the marker!
