Our sweet little baby arrived on July 7, 2014. (7/7/14) at 9:49pm (21:49). Take a look at those numbers. I guess 7 is her lucky number!
Her name is Isadora Kinner Peruch.
6 Pounds 3 Ounces
18.5 Inches long
She is a tiny little thing but she is very alert and such a joy to have in our home. Cosette was overjoyed to have a little sister! She was however a little sad that we named her Isadora. She wanted a different name. She cried about that for a little but we think that she got over that one for now. Tyrus loves to wave at the baby. He says "Hi Ya" as he waves to her and loves to tickle her little baby toes and give her kisses on her head. I think that they will be great little helpers.
It took a long time for the induction to finally end in Isadora's arrival. We got to the hospital at 5AM. Broke the water at around 7AM. Nathan told them to get more than two towels but they did not listen. And then after the flood gates opened...I mean my water broke...they were all calling for more towels! There was his "I told you so!" moment. The doctor estimated that there was at least 1.5 gallons of fluid in there. My belly shrunk from a huge beach ball size to a small little bowling ball. It was great I could breath again!
Then there was a lot of waiting and moving around to be sure that Isadora's heart rate would stay steady. No epidural because I did not want one and because if I did go that route then I am sure that it would have ended in a C-section because of the restricted movement. I was constantly moving positions. Then at around 11AM the doctor told us something that I never though I would hear. "we are going to put some fluid back in." You are what! Since Isadora's heart rate was still going all over the place doctor thought it best to give her a little bit of a cushion of fluid so that her cord would not be so restricted with all that real fluid we recently removed. So they took a tube and worked it behind her head and into the womb. This seemed to work a little. Her heart rate got a little better. Then after a long long day we finally began to push. After about 2 or 3 contractions she was out! And we are so glad she is here! I know that we needed to be induced because of the amount of fluid in there. We ran a high risk of cord prolaps (cord coming out before baby's head. (resulting in a C-section) So although it was a long we are glad that our doctor was patient with us and allowed us to try everything before going right to the operating table because it could have been more convenient for him. So THANKS DOC!
So now we are home and enjoying our new addition. Isadora is a great little girl. We love her! More pictures to come but for now this is what we've got.
The Girls!
The Boys!
Aunt Phoebe! We are so grateful to have her with us helping with the little ones.
The Peruch Family!
I think that Cosette has her eyes closed in almost all of these pictures.
There we go! Way to keep your eyes open Coco.

I'm happy things ended well and without a C-section! I've never heard of fluid being put back in. Kind of crazy but glad there was something that could be done to help Isadora feel better. I'm glad you have help and I hope your recovery is easy and quick. Hope we get to meet this little one someday!! We miss you guys!
So cute! Congratulations! I am glad everything went good and that you and Isadora are well. What a cute family! Miss you guys!
